First, place your box in the middle of the wrapping paper upside-down, and pull the gift wrap around the box until it's completely surrounding it. Make sure to give yourself an extra inch or two, and cut the wrapping paper.
Measure so that the wrapping paper on the sides of the box reach a little more than halfway up. If it is too long, go ahead and cut the wrapping paper so that it is as shown above. Do the same for the opposite side.
Wrap the paper as far as it goes (which should be about halfway around the box), and tape it in place. Then go ahead and do the same on the opposite side. (You should now have the wrapping paper wrapped around the entire box, but still have the sides of the box exposed)
On the end of the box, fold each side of the wrapping paper into the center and make a crease along the top and bottom flaps as shown above. Tape the sides in place.
Fold the top flap down and keep it in place with a piece of tape.
Fold the last and final flap upwards, and tape it in place. You now have a beautifully wrapped christmas present.
*Repeat steps 4, 5, 6 for the other side of the box.*
